This is the original big box Diamond Compressor featuring vactrol opto-isolator variable resistance path which is commonly used in the manufacture of high-end studio compressors.

In addition to the controls for compression, EQ and Volume it also has two internal switches - 1 bypasses the EQ altogether and the other is a high cut jumper which adds a 4.8kHz cut off ideal when pairing it with a high gain overdrive or distortion pedal

High quality componentry throughout makes this an excellent compressor at a great price point.

The LED is also dual function, turning green when switched on and pulsing red to show you the level of compression being applied whilst playing.
