Gibson Les Paul Special 1960 Reissue with twin P90’s -Satin Cherry finish

This Gibson Les Paul Special is like new with the exception of some very minor blemishes (as outlined in the detailed description below)

The Les Paul Special 1960 reissue returns back to the design that made it a classic, played and loved by musicians from all genres of music. 

It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings the authenticity of the original release instrument back to life with high quality workmanship, materials and superior playability - at an affordable price point.

Originally introduced in 1955, the Les Paul Special has been embraced by musicians for over 60 years. It is based on the Les Paul Junior with a slab mahogany body, 60’s style mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, wraparound bridge, an additional rhythm P-90 pickup, additional controls for the rhythm pickup and the 3-way toggle switch.

Vastly more versatile than a LP Junior.

The guitar is in EXCELLENT condition overall. Below is our summary

NECK: Immaculate. 95%+ fret life. Lovely, smooth satin finish with rosewood fretboard. 60’s style neck profile. Will suit modern and vintage profile players. Oiled and frets polished. 

HEADSTOCK: Immaculate. Not a mark we can see. Vintage Deluxe tuners adjusted and in perfect working order. No dings or chips

BODY Front: Excellent. Small blemish under bridge and only slightly visible. Beautiful aged cherry satin finish. All hardware polished and looking like new. No dings or chips

BODY Back: Some very minor playing wear apparent adjacent to the neck and minor buckle rash on lower half of body. and a couple of very minor scratches on the rear plastic plate. No dings or chips

ELECTRONICS: cleaned and tested. In perfect working order. 3 way switch (P90 neck, neck and bridge and P90 bridge configuration). Input jack adjusted, cleaned and tested. Volume & tone controls cleaned and tested. Perfect working order
