Assembled in the USA from parts hand crafted in Canada.
Their 24 3/4" scale length sits comfortably between a Fender and Gibson. This one features a lovely rock maple neck and Rosewood fretboard. Godin proprietary pick ups and hardware, HSS pick-up configuration, rear cutaway for easy higher fret access and dual string trees on the headstock. Original tremolo arm included.
Tone Masters have sold many Godin guitars over the years and for their price point we really can't fault the SD series. The quality and tone easily rivals guitars in the $1000+ range. NECK: Fretboard is immaculate. 95% fret life. Rear of neck also in excellent condition with one tiny indent that is barely noticeable. Scale length is 24 3/4 (628mm) and sits right in between the Fender and Gibson camps. The neck profile is a modern C shape, quick, smooth and very comfortable to play. Oiled and frets polished
HEADSTOCK: Great overall. Some marks and discolouration that comes with age. Godin tuners super sturdy and in great working order.
BODY Front: Great overall. Some signs of playing visible and discolouration consistent with age on pickguard and pick up covers. No chips or dings anywhere. All hardware polished.
BODY Back: Signs of use. Minor scratches and one small dent. No major dings or chips.
ELECTRONICS: cleaned and tested. In perfect working order. 5 way switch (HSS configuration). Input jack adjusted, cleaned and tested. Volume & tone controls cleaned and tested. Perfect working order
