Yamaha AES620 Flame Maple Top in Faded Burst Electric Guitar

The Yamaha AES620 certainly turned heads when they were released.

The set neck, single-cutaway mahogany body delivers fat, punchy chords and articulate solo sounds.

The proven Yamaha AES Series string-thru-body bridge transmits more string vibration to the body for intense sustain while the offset design tightens lows and focuses the highs.

The killer pickup configuration includes a Seymour Duncan JB at the bridge and a Yamaha alnico at the neck controlled by 2 volume knobs and one tone knob.

You also get a beautiful flamed maple top, a rosewood fretboard, abalone dot inlays, Grover tuners, and chrome hardware.

Yamaha sculpted the front and back of the AES620 guitar for comfort with a distinctive look.

NECK: Fretboard is immaculate. 95% fret life. There are a few surface scratches on the rear of the neck but no dings or chips. Very nice abalone dot inlays. Scale lenght is 24 3/4 (628mm) and sits right in between the Fender and Gibson camps. The neck profile is similar to a modern Gibson but feels slightly more ergonomic to our fingers. OIled and frets polished

HEADSTOCK: Excellent. There are a couple of very minor marks at the top rear of the headstock. Barely visible. Otherwise immaculate. Grover tuners super sturdy.

BODY Front: Excellent. Some signs of playing visible under intense light. No chips or dings anywhere. Beautiful flame maple top and natural wood binding. All hardware polished and looking like new

BODY Back: Buckle rash apparent across the back but no major dings or chips.

ELECTRONICS: cleaned and tested. In perfect working order. 3 way toggle switch (HH configuration). Input jack adjusted, cleaned and tested. Volume & tone controls cleaned and tested. Perfect working order
